How long has Southward Express been trading?
We were founded in 1987, and although many things have changed since then, delivering on time every time remains our priority. Our team have a wealth of experience, enabling us to move with the times and evolve with the industry.
If you carry my goods, will they be insured?
Yes, all goods are carried under RHA Conditions and insured, please see our Terms and Conditions.
Are there any restrictions to what items you can carry?
Although we carry a huge range of items some restrictions may apply, for example we cannot carry firearms or some hazardous goods. Please contact our Sales Team for further information.
Do you offer premium services?
Yes, we offer a wide range of services, including 9am, 10am and before noon service (some restrictions may apply). Please see our Logistics Solutions page, for further information.
Can I track my deliveries online?
Yes, we have a full online track and trace facility, please see our Tracking page.
Do you deliver overseas?
Yes we can deliver parcels and pallets to almost anywhere in the World. Please see our Logistics Solutions Worldwide section.
Can you collect my parcels and pallets at the same time?
Yes, we can arrange to collect all your consignments at the same time, including any International shipments and sort them for you in our 33000ft warehouse facility.
I sometimes have consignments that are extremely fragile, do you cater for directs?
Yes we can offer designated direct delivery vehicles, on a regular or ad hoc basis, contact our Sales Team for further details.
Do you have a call centre to help with any queries?
Yes our highly trained Customer Services Staff are on hand to help you. In fact all our clients are given their own Customer Service Representative, they will look after your account personally, taking care of any queries that you may have and enabling you to give your own Customers a knowledgeable and efficient level of service.
Can you collect from me daily?
Yes, we can arrange a mutually convenient collection time and call in every day to collect all your parcel and pallet consignments, or you can choose to call to request a collection as you need one.
What paperwork do I need to complete to use Southward Express?
This will depend on the number of consignments that you normally send. We will provide you with simple to use multi-entry consignment notes or for larger users, we can provide a Computer Implant that can be installed on your own system to compliment your own despatch procedures, we also have a web based solution for your pallet deliveries.
Can you store some of my stock for me?
Yes we have a large Storage Facility, and can offer short term and long term storage rates, contact our Sales Team for further information.
Do you have an IT package available?
Yes, larger customers can have our specialist despatch system installed on their own premises to aid despatch. We also have a web based system for your pallet deliveries.
Can you deliver to home addresses?
